Soft Tissue Massage

Soft tissue massage is a core skill of all our physiotherapists. Our physios incoporate various techniques to release muscles, ligaments, tendons and the connective tissue that links your body from your head to your toes. Any of which may be contributing to your pain or affecting the way in which you move.

Hydrotherapy Barossa

Hydrotherapy

Previously known as aquatic physiotherapy, hydrotherapy has been part of our clinic for the past 20 years. Our hydro program consists of supervised exercises performed in the water. Swimming is not a prerequisite skill. Patients can perform each while standing in the water, holding onto the side of the pool, or using a flotation device. The water provides a safe effective method for healing injuries, restoring patient confidence, and increasing mobility.

Exercise Therapy/Power Plate

A power plate is an unstable platform on which one can sit, stand, squat, even plank to perform exercises that stimulate your muscles and help maximise the effect of body weight exercises. This may help improve strength, flexibility and balance and may also improve bone density. This is both a novel and useful tool to compliment any remedial or general health exercise program.

Pain Management & Education

Pain education is an important part of physiotherapy intervention. Simply by explaining what is happening within your body when you experience pain and helping you become less frightened of pain, this can assist in better pain management.
